OPERATION BLESS THE BLUE

Have you ever thought to yourself, "How can I bless my local law enforcement agency this Christmas?"

Throughout my time as a law enforcement officer, I've seen the community answer this question in one primary way.... food.

I have no problem with communities thanking their local law enforcement in this way, but it really only impacts the individuals working on that specific day. Not only that, but it doesn't point officers to the true reason behind the season.

The heart behind this outreach is to impact each individual officer and dispatcher of an agency with a Christmas gift. Not just a monetary gift, but a gift that can impact them spiritually. A gift that points them to Jesus Christ, the greatest gift ever given to mankind.

Weapons of Righteousness Ministries started this outreach in 2022 as a way for the body of Christ to support and encourage law enforcement and dispatchers during the Christmas season. The ultimate vision of this outreach is to have churches across the nation rise up in support of their local law enforcement by participating in Operation Bless the Blue.

Operation Bless the Blue gives you the opportunity to personally impact the life of an individual officer and dispatcher. With a financial donation of $75 you can sponsor an officer or a dispatcher with the following gift package:

• A $50 gift card to a local restaurant.
• A book targeting the difficulties that arise within the law enforcement career.
• An encouraging thank-you letter written by an LE supporter.

Currently this ministry is sponsoring 62 officers and 911 dispatchers from the following agencies:

1. Appomattox County Sheriff's Office - Appomattox County, VA
2. Woodland Park Police Department - Woodland Park, CO
